Just an idea for discussion, I suppose...but how about a skill
that allowed one to set traps or snares. A ranger-ish
type ability, for sure.
The trap itself would do minimal damage to the victim and
bind them to the room for a a tick or so. The setter
of the trap should only be allowed to set one per
certain amount of time, with no more than one per room...
and traps that do not spring after a certain amount of time
Just an idea. :)

We should be able to set traps like the one in AT.
Like, we will be able to set traps that blind the victim, or
weaken, or any other spells, maybe even immolate. if you have
high mind...etc.. Also, it be interesting to see _fallen_ traps
that can be set in rooms with down exits...
Or even those type of _pulled_ traps, that drags you to
a few adjencent rooms, similar to the one the witches in
SL does... but more than 1 room.
For the durations however, I don't have any ideas on it.
It shouldn't be timed, and preservable, since well, it doesn't
seem like a spell-magical-thing.
Maybe a new skill _maintain_ for those with repair and forge?
Or maybe just have it set to a certain of time... dependant
only on the trapper's level... It should be pretty long too
when you are level 50...
Can't wait to see what you guys will impled..

Glad you like them :). Unfortunately, they're operated entirely
by invisible mobs with lots of acts code on them -- nothing that
would readily adapt to Legend, I'm afraid.

traps that immolate doesn't seem like a magical thing to you?
I believe the idea was to add some extra smalltime tactics and fun features
to the game, not add an entirely new ueberweapon that kills you instantly,
or pulls you through 2 timezones, to whichever major aggressive mob of the
